About the Work

Vivid, energetic, and unapologetic, New Skool explores identity, style, and cultural expression through the lens of a generation determined to rewrite the rules.

Two closely positioned figures emerge through layered fields of turquoise, orange, red, cobalt, cream, and black. Abstracted faces, exaggerated features, graffiti-inspired marks, and fragments of familiar brand language collide across the canvas, creating the energy of a visual soundtrack—bright, rhythmic, and unfiltered.

References to streetwear, sneaker culture, hip-hop graphics, and contemporary mark-making transform clothing into language and personal style into declaration. The overlapping lines and handwritten phrases reflect the constant exchange between individual identity, commercial imagery, music, and the streets.
